Microsoft Whiteboard is a powerful tool for teachers and students to create, discover, and share ideas on large screens, a sort of great virtual whiteboard.

The app, initially available only for Surface Hub, is also available on PCs and Windows 10 renewed tablets and with many new features.

Use ink to activate smart features 

In addition to the standard color set, the Whiteboard includes newly-captivating new ink shades, a highlighter and a virtual ruler that provides greater flexibility and precision than a physical blackboard. Intelligent ink technology automatically transforms designs into shapes so that shapes, flow charts, and tables become cleaner and simpler for everyone. Whiteboard also comes with a virtual lane that lets you drag and drop content so you can manage your ideas and keep news organized for your team.

Work together from different places

Whiteboard allows collaboration between the Surface Hub of the same company so that several colleagues can work together, regardless of whether you are in the same place or in different places. Non-ink writing will allow you to quickly write content and brainstorm with your colleagues. Sharing is super easy.

Download and installation 
1. Download and extract the MicrosoftWhiteboard folder to this address. 
2. Click on the "AppxManifest.xml" file, go to the File Explorer Ribbon menu and click Home> Copy Path. 
3. Type in the "Windows PowerShell" Cortana search box, right-click and select "Run as Administrator". 
4. If you have a User Account Control request, click Yes. 
5. Type the following command and press Enter: Add-AppxPackage (path without brackets or quotation marks) -Register. Wait for package installation.
